Looks better than Shield wall

I see Shield Wall but its way too "cartoony" for me... reminds me of a "Lego Batman" type game or something.

Then I saw reviews saying the developer abandonned a previous identical game to make Shield Wall so thats what led me to find this game.
This game looks way better than shield wall to me personally... I wish the dev stuck to this version I would buy right now for twice the price if the units werent just all white and you could have more than a few dozen units.

I see footage on the store page that shows ships, forts etc all looks pretty fun and engaging. Is it true the dev just abandonned this to work on Lego Shield Wall, and does anyone know why they did? Do silly kids games sell better or something?

i do not know why that stoped working on this game.it is fun even if it is unfinished and worth more money than it should be.if they stuck with this game a little more that would have been nice.

I think it's just how small few-guy teams often operate, they have to start somewhere and I'm sure like all of us make mistakes along the way. I'd imagine getting into the biz is ferocious and that leads to some "fake it till you make it" mentality and the consumer is stuck in the middle. I'd kind of think of it as a band you like that plays locally that you like, sometimes the fans don't mind giving up a little. See I'm a fan of the idea and if I lose a little trying to get these types of games made I don't mind.
