I was kinda hoping there would be an optimal solution, but at the moment it seems these are the only options:
Mantis & Groot: MIA (ALWAYS)
Rocket -or- Gamora: MIA (ALWAYS) with the other one a Guardian
Drax: MIA -or- Deceased (possibly the same thing if you believe he actually survives)
Nebula: Deceased -or- Traitor
Hala: doesn't really matter one way or the other, she's still killing millions

Also, it is really hard to tell where this game takes place in the timeline -
If it is after GotG2 then shouldn't Yondu be dead?
If it is before GotG 2 then Drax and Nebula can't be dead...

Hopefully Drax, and Nebula always turn out the same. I would rather not them have no role from here on out. Instead maybe them contributing to the end, or if you refuse Drax and he survives, in the inevitable reunion plot of Episode 5, Drax will refuse to join if you refuse his honorable death in Episode 4. I hope if Nebula is a traitor she comes back to bite your butt. I'm hoping this isn't a classic telltale move where nothing amounts to anything, I hope it doesn't end in Rocket, Gamora, Mantis, and Groot in a final showdown against Hala, and they include a more complicated inclusion. If Drax isn't deceased, he comes to help, if Drax is refused, he doesn't help. Nebula joins Hala if shes a traitor and that complicates things.

It's because it doesn't take place in the cinematic universe. I mean, in the first episode we take out Thanos while in the cinematic universe he's still alive. If it helps, think parallel universes. ;)

And me, I still have Rocket, Nebula is dead, and Hala has the empowered eternity forge.

I'd be curious to see if anything other than the Drax decision affects who stays; Rocket or Gamora. Eg. If you ALWAYS side with Gamora but then sacrifice Drax does she still leave? Or if you always side AGAINST Gamora but save Drax would she still stay? I'm guessing the answer to both is yes, because tell tale.

same i am soooooooooooo pissed off about the ending 95% of the time i always sided with gamora except at the end of episode 3 when i choose NOT to destroy the forge but empower it and then i choose to accept drax his last request and let him sacrifice himself and now am also stuk with this stupid rocket -_- i cant stand him in the game ugh

if you always choose and help gamore and still let drax die she will still leave the guardians and you will be stuck with rocket.
