Slide?

Hello,
I know that can be a stupid question but i really don't know how to slide!
I tried for 20 minutes and i can't pass level 1-7. Obviously i already tried to run while i was crouched.
Please help me

While running press slide and don't let go of either move or slide button.

Slide button:

X on xbox controller.
Square on PS-controller
Shift on keyboard.

Seems like we might need to make this more clear though, I'll see what we can do :)
