If you start the game, you'll probably see the screen (but only a small portion the size of a portraitmode of a smartphone, not fullscreen), and I have no idea if you can even start the game as it works through 'gazing at the option' and then press a button on the motioncontroller..
I see it's again at 5,99 (70% off) at the moment of writing, it's the same price when I bought it in the summersale a while back. If you don't already have it in your library I wouldn't buy it if you don't have a headset, unless you're planning on buying a headset anyway real soon (hell even if it's a Quest).
There are enough non-VR exclusive titles for you. Move on and play these.
Yes, in VR every game looks better, but there's no non-transferable motion controller features like beat saber, blade and sorcery and etc.
I guess you haven't really played it, there are more than enough stuff that's really for VR like scanning creatures and climbing. Yeah any vr game could be done on a flat screen, even beatsabel etc..
