Roaches are bugs - and other things I noticed
So far I'm loving the game, but I'm experiencing bugs.

I'll have a roach infestation in a building and it can't be fixed. CAN'T be fixed, or isn't described clearly enough.

The game tells me I need to upgrade the bathroom - bathrooms on the entire block are upgraded as high as possible, and repairing the house doesn't fix the infestation. Bugs keep pouring out of the house no matter what and I've lost a game already because an infestation problem wasn't fixed even though I demolished the house.

Is there a way to fix this I don't know about, or are there bugs bigger than the ones walking down the sidewalk?

Also I'm not sure if they should be able to use subway systems. I find it comical that they can though

Even cockroaches need to get around quickly!

It was mentioned by Zipportal that to solve this mission you need to upgrade the bathrooms, but they don't need to be max level! In addition to that make sure you manually repair any houses that are infested as well as using your workers or gangsters to kill the ones still walking around.

If the issue persists even after that please let me know as that should not be happening!

I think the mission is badly worded, but not bugged - after you've upgraded the bathrooms on the estate (only once for each house is necessary), send some workers or a gangster or two to kill the giant roaches until they stop coming, just like with the zombie mission. And you can prevent this mission from triggering at all if you give every new house a bathroom upgrade when you build it!

You can also get roaches by leaving a house without a tenant too long, but that doesn't seem to trigger a mission and you can get rid of them by doing an emergency repair on the source house (if you try an emergency repair with the mission, you just get a message saying 'it won't solve the problem with the bathroom' or something). I'm not sure about this next part, but it also looks like those roaches will spread an infestation if enough of them reach another (unoccupied?) house - though that might just be because I built them all roughly at the same time and they were due to get infested anyway.

The issue most certainly persisted with me. Upgraded the bathroom and did the manual repair. My house was still delapidated. I had to destroy the house to fix the problem.

Just kill them, it should work. Watched a couple of videos on YouTube, all worked.

I think you have to kill six of them.

the mission actually does say that you need to kill the roaches after upgrading the bathrooms one level. the problem is that most people, myself included only read up to the part that says upgrade all bathrooms on a block. perhaps if the wording of the mission highlighted objectives in red like in street wars people wouldn't glace over the second part of that mission.

Upgrade the bathrooms and kill the roaches with workers did it for me.

And it does say, upgrade the bathrooms AND get rid of the roaches.

For anyone else with this same problem - you do have to kill the roaches AFTER upgrading the restroom.
