How to kill roaches on xbox one version

It dosen't tell u a lot it game do I select a work and press a or x or what and do I hover over it to do it?

Hi KBlack2595. Hope you're well. :)

I am not sure if you have played the tutorial yet, so I will try to be as descriptive as possible for you. :)

Here is a TLDR version at the start:

1. Select Worker by moving cursor over one and pressing A.
2. Find cockroach, move the cursor over it, and press X.
3. Worker will now attack the cockroach until the cockroach is killed.

This will work for other characters as well as buildings.

If you wish to read on for a more descriptive example please continue on. :)

To attack cockroaches you may use either Workers or Gangsters. Early in the game you will generally only have access to Workers to carry out your attacks, so you will need to use them to deal with cockroaches.

To kill a cockroach, select a Worker by placing the cursor near, or directly over, the worker (there is a short range where the cursor will acquire targets to make it a little easier to target on consoles), and then pressing the A button. This will select the Worker.

Scroll over to where the cockroaches are located by using the Right Stick if they are not on-screen. You may also zoom out the view by pressing down the Right Trigger and moving the Right Stick down. If they are on-screen then ignore this instruction.

Once you see the cockroaches, ensure that your Worker is still selected, and then move the cursor near, or directly over the cockroach, you should notice the cursor now changes to look like four red arrows and a person. This is the "attack person" icon. If it were a building, the icon would instead display a house. When you are ready to exterminate the vermin, press the X button and your Worker will now make his way over to the cockroach and begin attacking it. Repeat this for as many cockroaches as you desire (you make a small amount of money for killing them as well as zombies).

If this is the Cockroach Infestation mission, you will also need to upgrade the bathrooms of every home on the infested estate to Class Two. If you do not know where to find the infested estate, and do not want to search for it on the map see below:

(Please note if you are not doing the cockroach mission that the relevant icon will not show!!!)

Mission Review:

1. Press RT + B to open the Mission Review screen. This screen will display your main mission (financial conquest, war mode etc) as well as Council Missions (f any!) that you must currently complete.

2. Click the icon that looks like several cockroaches. It will be located in one of the three mission spaces if you are currently needing to complete it.

3. You will now see a short text description of the mission as well as two buttons. The one you want to click on is the one that looks like an arrow pointing over to an X. Alternatively, you can also just press the X button. This will zoom your view to the house where the infestation started, and by extension the estate where you must upgrade all the bathrooms to Class Two.

For regular infestations that occur due to a house being left empty for an extended period of time a new floating icon will display above it. You will need to manually repair the home to fix this kind of infestation. You can initiate a manual repair by clicking the button in the house's data screen that looks like a home with a spanner next to it. Alternatively, hold down the Left Trigger, the Right Trigger, and press ↓ (down arrow) on the d-pad.
