there's only 2 West-American servers ( so if you're from europe, say hello to +150ping )
A typical day on one of the two servers of duke nukem (horrible ping)
and if you run into starcraftzerg he will always camp out invulnerability and snipe, so theres that goin on too. enough players to almost know by screen name honestly, makes your reputation within the game play a bigger role in that reguard.
You are the only one in the server with such bad ping. I am from denmark and i am usually at about 150-300 ping. It's not that bad.
And there are only a few hackers. They use the speed hack with the ripper.
This. Its the largest Duke Nukem group on Steam. The owner hosts a dedicated server.
Somewhat like Duke Nukem 3D's deathmatch, it's mostly about hoarding the explosives and powerups, shame the game doesn't come with mutators that let you disable those or atleast get bigger maps.
It's fun once you get past the fact everyone instantly kills you. I personally only care for the achievements, not so much the "Having fun" part, which i can do, when I'm not being blown to pieces upon spawning, because some people have no humanity or honor or decency for that matter.
Haven't played since a year ago though. No different though, since no patches ever for some fu cking reason.
