However, noone is doing anything with the franchise.
There used to be side-scrollers, FPS and TPS games, even pinball games, now there is exactly nothing.
Funny you say that. Visit the voice actor's social media accounts and you'll find that he's one of those snowflakes.
That's assuming they aren't currently locked/scrubbed. John likes going off on lefty rampages, gets owned and then locks his accounts for a bit while he nurses his bruised ego. He eventually unlocks them and does it all over again.
I wouldn't be at all surprised. Most Western voice actors have the left coast brain rot.
3DR does not own the rights to Duke Nukem anyway.... The gearbox overlords do..... They could not make a duke game if someone else did the work. And if it turns out half as bad as DNF did I dont want it anyway.
I don't dislike Ion Fury, I just wish Bombshell looked like she used to, and that she would zipper her talkhole occasionally. Duke, Caleb and Lo Wang had some awesome lines and you'd hear them repeated, but they also shut up from time to time.
I played Ion Fury, it's a generic 90s-style shooter that doesn't take itself seriously but just average in my opinion. They were trying to recapture the magic that Duke 3D brings, but just missed the mark.
