Yes they removed de SSAO and DOF from the game, due their poor original implementation.
The motion blur effect was replaced with CAS, there is a new Bloom shader, the tone map is different, they enabled shadows for all object (it still need to be tweaked in order for everything to cast shadows, because the original game had a very powerful shadow system, but it was downgraded due to the consoles of that time...) also there is the options for 2k(default), 4k and 8k shadows for the exterior levels. you can see a comparison on this image that i made.

And i don't remember if there was anything else.
Note that if you want to have a SSAO or DOF effect, you can always use reshade to have a better version of those again.
And with the map changes, they are going to use all of the lighting system potential that was unfortunatelly cut from the original game due to the consoles of that time...
