What happened to Duke Nukem 3D:Reloaded???

hi guys yes the title says everything and i would like to know more about it,the last thing i remember is that Gearbox Software granted the permission for Interceptor Entertainment to develop DNR,and since then we didnt heard any news,if anyone out there who knows the truth about this project please tell me cuz im a HUGE FAN of duke nukem and i like every duke nukem game except Duke Nukem Forever,i would like to know is DNR cancelled or is it still in development cuz i was searching on the internet and there was no confirmation that this game got cancelled,nor any information or confirmation for its release date,so what do you guys think?

hey man i think you are wrong about 3D Reloaded,i searched the whole internet and this game is still set to be announced,its not cancelled yet,but you are right about duke nukem mass destruction which happened to be bombshell later,i think this game is going to suck bad

hah i agree with you on bombshell. 3d reloaded was put on a hold by gearbox, i think it was about 2 years ago? We haven't heard about it since then.

yes duke nukem 3d reloaded is still put on hold but not by gearbox this time,its by interceptor well maybe they will finish it in the near future i guess but please dont say that things that arent true about 3d reloaded,you said they cancelled it but they didnt,the game is still in development or either was put on hold,and like i said i searched the whole internet for this game and it says NOWHERE that it was cancelled,so i think youre wrong on that one buddy :P

No it was put on a hold by gearbox. Same story as mass destruction. They had the right to work on a game, but not release it. So they just stopped working on it.

It may be possible that they somehow get the right from gearbox to make a duke game. If that happens, i think it would be more likely that they made a completely new game. That would be kickass too :D 3D realms making a game together with interceptor could be a very good combination.
