Controller Tracking Problems
Hi I am having problems with my Vive controllers losing tracking and just not responding. I will be playing the game normally and one or both of the controllers with cut out and freeze, it will also start flashing in the Steam VR thing. I can go into the Steam VR and turn them off and then back on again and they will track for about 30 seconds before they cut again. It is very annoying and I can't play the game without getting killed cause I have to take off my HMD and walk over to my PC.

I have done a few tests with the controller and base stations. This happens on all battery levels and still happens after 2 room setups and moving the base stations. Even re-installing the game didn't help. Another thing I noticed was that this tracking issue only happens in GORN. I played a 30 minute session of Pavlov and another 15 mintue session of Space Pirate Trainer with no tracking issues. After playing those games, I fired up GORN through the VR Home (I played around in there for a bit and there were no issues with tracking). As Soon as I got into GORN both controllers cut and lost tracking.

GORN is a super fun game but it is unplayable with these conditions. If anyone knows why this happens or how to fix it, please comment. Thanks!

I had similar problems, Turned out there was something reflective in my room. Didnt happen in any other game but GORN. Either froze mid air or controller just went flying. For me it was simply a cat's-eye/reflector. But IIRC something like a reflective screen/TV can do it aswell. Try blocking those and see if it helps.

I'll second puzzlepappa here. If the headset can see the base station lights in a reflection, chaos ensues. Tracking (at least for me) is perfect otherwise.

The funny thing is, all the walls in the room are a light blue and have nothing on them.

Everything that could possibly reflective in the room has been covered by black sheets and it still happens.
