Maybe the dev will respond to it.
but else i like your idea, even if i could never use that feature myself after becoming broke from just buying the headset :D
Yeah that staggering thing could be an issue. I suppose the only real method that would work is to do co-op only where you dont really go head to head and have your weapons just sort of bounce off the other player....sort of like the spike fence at the beginning of each round. And yeah i agree that owning two VR setups is super unlikely so really this option would rarely get used. I just happen to be lucky enough to have a friend with a setup.
Us hermits with internet friends need love too!
This. It would make for some great cross-platform play (so to speak), by allowing non-vr players to pick up the game, if they wanted. They could team up with other non-vr players to try to kill those using VR.
Have no other developers tried this yet? It would work in VR's current state with less players. Make a game where multiple regular PC users can team up together to face single or greatly outnumbered VR users.
I've only found one game that does a VR vs Desktop kind of thing that also supported online called Mass Exodus.
Good to know. I'll have to check it out.
More VR titles with modes like this could definitely help the market. If the VR aspect of a game looks fun enough to the regular PC users, it could help move them towards picking up a headset so they can play that end.
