Can PC co-op be played online?
My granddaughter and I live in two different cities. Could we play this game co-op on PC? It appears that we can't but I wanted to check with people who have played the game just to be sure. Thank you for any info you can provide.

No, sadly you cannot. It is only local coop meaning that you have to play on one screen with 2 controllers or the left side and right side of your keyboard.

I know I'm a bit late to join in, and yes, online co-op was never provided by the developers. Fortunately there is an application called Parsec that allows you to stream the game to someone else's PC. Parsec will allow the remotely connected user viewing the stream to join as player 2. I've used this with a couple Lego games including Lego City Undercover, and it works just fine. The interface and setup is very user friendly so a child should have no issue using it. I won't go into much detail here since Parsec has a tutorial inside the application detailing setup. Best of luck! https://parsecgaming.com/

I know this is an old post, but for people who came here searching, now Steam has a feature called Remote Play Together. So, no need for Parsec
