consistent crashes across two machines at police station(s) in cherry tree hills
got this game for my lego-crazy kids for the holidays. only 2% in, and on both systems I have installed, the game consistently crashes when trying to enter a police station. (cherry tree hills area.) I've tried changing resolutions without success. unsure what else to try, or what further information to gather for troubleshooting.

some bad code lines in the game itself maybe? or something related to DX11 instruction in the exe file. What is your PC spec, friend? I've been playing this on i3-7100 PC + RX480 4GB + Win10, no crashes so far..

another thing to try is the classic suggestion... verify the game files.

laptop is a i7 2720QM (sandy bridge), 16GB RAM, nvidia quadro 2000m (2GB), DX11, win7-64
desktop is ye olde core 2 duo E8500, 8GB RAM, nvidia GT640 (2GB), DX11, win7-64

It smells like a software bug -- going through the game a different way than my kids, I didn't hit it.
