Stuttering gone after stopping "Oculus VR Runtime Service"
This hint only helps people using the OculusRift-Client.
After the latest Oculus-Update (9.Aug.2017), my Lego-Games were stuttering (Oculus-App-Version 1.17.0.424527).
Opening the Steam-Overlay and watching the game in the background, the stuttering was gone. Back in the Game: the game was stuttering every 2-3 seconds. :BEspite:

I tried newer nVidia-Drivers, used overclocking-mode for my 1070-card and all those hints with "nVidia3DSettings-EnergymodeForSpecial-Program-Maximum..", but nothing helped.
Deactivating "unknown sources" in Oculus-Client/Library/Filter was of no help, too.
Other games i tried were still working fine - normal or in VR, Steam or Oculus-Store.

I had to stop "Oculus VR Runtime Service" via Task-Manager and the stuttering was gone.

I hope this hint helps someone.

Thank you very much. It solved the stuttering. On windows 10 you can find the "Oculus VR Runtime Service" in the Services tab in the Task Manager. The service name is OVRService
