Question: Steam Vs Wii U - Differences/Similarities?
I got the game back in 2013 when I still had my Wii U. I absolutely loved this game and played it for hours every night. What are the notable differences and/or similarities between the two? I might consider buying it if not too much has changed. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I have read elsewhere this is a "remaster" of the original. Any info on that or is this just a port?

The difference is that there is a coop mode instead of just playing yourself. Also there was an improvement of graphics

The loading screen etc. are new, the graphics are better, the nintendo specific easter eggs were removed but I think other than that it's more or less the same.

Let's talk about the minor things that make a major difference...
Loading times are shorter,
Chase McCain has alternative outfits for each disguise (Original-ish police uniform, Lance Linberger is now an outfit for Chase Construction...),
New characters such as Grace Makepiece,
New vehicles such as Pursuer and Hanker,
Improvement in graphics,
And some other things.

Some things that may make you go "What the?"
Epona has been renamed Traveller, most likely because the previous name was a Legend of Zelda reference.
Ted Baxter's model wears a new police uniform, but his pedestrian model wears a completely different one.

I say the PC version is better.

Thanks for that info.

You cannot rewatch the cutscene using the film projector in the police station in the PC version, All Nintendo references have been removed in PC version (example: the Mario invincibility star was replaced by a sherrif star).
