Red Bricks

Everytime I collect new red brick it unlocks the extra right away. This means I don't need to use any studs to buy extras. I don't know if this is implemented feature or not but it doesn't just feel right. So I want to know if this is a very odd glitch or is it just new feature we haven't seen in any other lego game in the past.

I felt the same way. I was at 600,000 studs when I found the 2x brick, I was a little disappointed that I didn't need to buy it for 1,250,000.

Not to mention there is a red brick SHOP in the police station. It is completely useless! It's only purpose is to EQUIP red bricks... Why not use pause menu?
I am sure it is a glitch.

If it is a bug and they fix it I might start a second save just so I can better satisfy the completionist in me.

you can equip it in the menu, under extras is the list with all red bricks and the option to turn it off or on. On a video of the switch version i saw someone buy the red brick for 2x for 200.000 studs do the automatic unlock must be a glitch.

its not like you're spending your studs on anything else expensive
with the amount of studs you collect everything is waaaaay to cheap in all these lego games. instead of 1000/3000 studs for a new character make it 100.000 or 1.000.000 especially when you unlock the multipliers you're soon swimming in the billions

I enjoyed the original lego star wars, it was tedious but not to difficult. I think just keeping the original 1,250,000 for the 2x multiplier and so on, even if it's not as hard to get, would be good enough.

The glitch is fine with me, I'm still attempting to hunt down the red bricks on the world map o.o'
