Coop on two monitors?
Hey,

first off: I'm fully aware that the game currently only supports split screen on one monitor.

So this is more of a brainstorming thread as to how it could be possible to mod the game to display each individual players perspective on a different monitor. Or perhaps there is a config tweak that renders two instances you could move to each screen for a better experience. The game is apparently not that demanding so it shouldn't be an issue for higher end PCs.

Maybe there is also a known solution for this in other LEGO games? It's the first one I play on PC, so I don't know.

Maybe somebody got an idea.

I did it this way with other Lego Games: Assign the two monitors as one in your Nvidia/AMD Tools. Set ingame Resolution to 3840x1080. Switch to Coop-Game and now every player has its own screen.

Using Nvidia Surround could make that possible

The game doesn't start with 2 monitors.

Just tested it with Nvidia Surround and it works perfectly on two screens as described above. Menues and single Player looks weird, but if second player joins both have an own screen and perspective is normal. This is why i like Lego games so much, because on two screens playing with my kids they make much fun.

Works like a charm with the AMD Eyefinity function. Just make sure you set the aspect ratio to "from screen resolution".

Thank you for this. I was about to give up on dual-monitor splitscreen until I saw this.
