Can't Complete Robber Challenges [Solved]

I'm trying to complete 11 robber challenges (car stealing) and each time I'm trying to initiate this mission I get a response that another investigation is in progress. I have completed all the main missions and other missions like races and free runs. The only thing that remains are those 11 challenges. I've managed to complete 2, but others can't be initiated. Any advice for this problem?

Sometimes you have to finish the story before it lets you do certain challanges (car stealing, arresting gangs, catching aliens.) Finish up that part of the story and you can get back to the challenges.

As I said in my initial post, I've completed the story and all other missions. Those are the only ones left, but the games doesn't let me.

Are you pressing B to quickly, in order to break into the building, or is it an audio scanner event?
A couple of times I pressed B to quickly and accidentally pressed Cancel by mistake; which then gave the investigation prompt.

Other than that I have no clue what might be wrong, sorry :(

I had the same problem when opening garage doors in order to steal a car. I had to slow down a bit when pressing the controller button to open the door, because if you inadvertently press it again at the end, you get the "investigation in progress" message.

Thanks, guys for your help. That was exactly my problem as well. I was opening those doors too quickly. Now, I've managed to complete the game 100%.

Thanks people! Much appreciated I couldn't work this out I was just spamming K when opening the doors. So I was quitting the challenge before even getting its screen up. Not helpful having the same key that opens the door also quitting the challenge!

I have a different issue. My scanner shows me a car theft at the airport, but that garage does not open.
