Freeplay is incredibely frustrating to play
Though the title says it all, the fact that:

- No explanation or tutorial is present, makes it very confusing at first;
- Harsh difficulty at scavenging any usefull items;
- Very specific items to find, rather than general stuff(F.E. now i/we have to find specific energy drinks/canned food instead of food/hydration in general;
- Duo teams dominating the match
- Relatively low rewards for scavenging stuff, as you can get more cash/crates by finding them rather than completing the rewards attached to scavenging the specific goods;
- Complete and utter loss of any rewards upon death, making it extremely punishing when failing thus making me(And, i'm very certain, alot of other people) very frustrated;

makes it very unpleasent to play, really. Sure, i like a challenge at times, and the difficulty is something i can adapt to, but right now it feels way more like a chore to play than actual fun.

Freeplay is not supposed to be an easy and balanced walk in the park.

It's frustrating a lot of the time, sure, but that makes it all the more rewarding once you get good stuff and dominate.

If you don't like it, no need to play it, I personally like it the way it is now. I don't really like randomness in games, but rarely there's an exception, like freeplay here.
It would not be nearly as fun if everyone got guns and ammo all the time, or kept all they had when they die, or could find quest items in their first run.

You are absolutelly right, dude! Furthermore whole game is getting more and more expensive and money oriented! The more you play, you understand this.
1. Case guns are MORE powerful in stock than standard.
2. Rad materials are very rare and you need much time to gain some amount.
3. Most of the people are playing "camper" and "rat" style. (sitting at resurrection points, hiding in corners.)
4. "New" freeplay modе actually is a rip-off from PUBG exept the fact that you can be killed by sitting rat near the exit point!
5. Last but not the least: GETTING MONEY IS VERY DIFFICULT if you are not a sitting rat! Because case costs 50 000 and 60 000 but the MAX you can get is 2 500 - 3000. So please do a division and you would get approx 20-24 alive returns you must make to BUY IT! But if you are slimy camper you can do it faster!
Conclusion: THIS GAME IS PUSHING YOU FORFARD TO FOUL PLAY! You must be slime and vile TO SUCCEED:steamfacepalm:!

Yeah, that's kind of the point, being a nice guy only gets you killed, I learned that the hard way.

There's a very thin line between a challenge and a chore. Right now, the chore outweighs the challenge.

It doesn't exactly help either that, from what i know, the currency can't be obtained on any other mode other than freeplay. If they were a random drop in regular/premium crates, i would be able to get this currency at an reliable rate allowing me to progress in buying the crates that you can only buy with said currency.

Am i supposed to play 10 matches, only to have 7 bad experiences with me dying over and over again, only to have 3 good matches with me making it out alive with my mediocre reward?

Well it's all about tactics, decent camo uniforms are a blessing, also I always spend about a minute scavenging and then hiding somewhere until the other people thin each other out, and when there are 5-3 people left I head out. This method usually makes me last survivor + whatever else I found.

adding annoying radiation, bombs that goes trough buildings, limited exit and weapon spawn and you got quite of a frustrating mix

and to be honest "rewards" is just a meme only the quest are rewarding not the loot you are getting away with

Keep in mind that freeplay is only in a beta stage, it can and will surely change with the help of player's suggestions, advices and feedback.

It's true Freeplay has no explanation but once you get the hang of it, it's really quite easy to win a round. I consistently place last man standing, all you have to do is hide or stay still when you hear footsteps and always be on alert. Never fire if you can't see the enemy because it'll give away your position. Once you learn to recognize ammo types, it's best to collect all of the common rifle ammo. My strategy is to always pick up blue pistol ammo(never revolver .22 cal unless I need to) and then any other ammo I find, just in case I run into an AR that'll use it. I almost always keep semi-auto snipers or guns with scopes for the range advantage. It's really not that difficult to defeat duos either since they line up to be killed easily and 2 people make tons of noise while traveling together. You'll get good soon enough.

Yeah this is 100% winning tactic. To be honest majority out there often use it. I have been killed several times by rats out there. In fact you must be quite an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to use it, because at the beggining you search the exit, not the goods.:steamsalty:
