Bug with achievement free version

I just installed the free version. I tried to do the achievements with the available character, but no achievements are unlocked. Do you have to buy the bundle for the achievements to unlock? Thanks :)

When you get one of the achievements in the game a window appears that tells you how to unlock whichever ones you did on the free to play version, which is either buying one of the characters in the game or one of the bundles to do so, the Anniversary edition on here might unlock them as well if you decided to buy it on here at any time.
