No rewards beside cosmetics, every character is unlocked already.
And it has survival mode, both with standart CPUs and Shadows.
Shadows are CPUs that fight like real people that made them, and that is pretty fun.
Overall single player content is pretty good, but not on a MK level
Other than that, the game has a survival mode, where you regain some of your health after each battle and see how far you can go.
The core of the game is learning the fighters one on one, and in that regard, this game is stellar.
