Better than Mortal Kombat 11?

Just wondering anyone else find this actually better than MK11? It's just the gameplay is much more fast-paced, character selection is much more varied as opposed to mostly "martial arts/psuedo-Asian/Military" and it doesn't contain woke overtones.

Why do you care? Play whatever you like, they're way too different games to come up with a 100% accurate conclusion. I play both and both are competent games in their own right, although MK11 has far more janky ♥♥♥♥, just like KI during its first season.

Mk11 isnt mk anymore because NetherRealm changed the gameplay system and its like SFV now.

KI has always been the King, ever since the first Arcade game. Shame it doesn't get more love. It's the combo building and Ultras. Fatalities don't compare.

The new mk is garbage stick to mk9 on xbox pc port is crap. Ki is fun except shadowlords and shadowlabs enemies are rigged

Haven't played MK11, but KI is the best fighting game currently on marke. So...

MK11 isn't woke at all, unless you mean the lack of skimpy outfits on the ladies. Honestly, it was hard to take any of the women characters seriously in MK9's story mode with they way they were dressed, so I get why they did it in terms of story. If nothing else, the hotties of MK11 at least look like real people compared to the cartoon characters in MK9 and MKX (and KI, if we're being honest).

The main thing I like about MK11 is the separate defense and offensive meters, which means you have lots of options for getting out of combos and escaping corners without having to sacrifice your offensive momentum. The "fatal blow" moves are also the best use of an overpowered super move I've seen in a fighter so far, since you can only use them once per match. Lots of fun mind-games at the end of each round with who can bait the other person into whiffing or wasting theirs.

I'm just now getting into KI (after having it in my Steam and Windows 10 libraries for years) so I can't talk about that, but I can definitely say that MK11 is totally worth checking out. It's $23 on sale all the time and totally worth it, IMHO.

LOL, if anyone get's offended by those things, then they're so sensitive it's crazy. Jax's ending is pure fantasy and would NEVER happen, kinda like a Jewish character going back in time and killing Hitler. And Shao Kahn's line doesn't mean anything unless you want it to. It would be like if...I dunno, the main bad person, Kronika, had a bunch of posters everywhere that said "Hope."

If people wanna miss out on a great game just because of some dumb stuff that 1) you probably wouldn't notice if someone didn't point it out and 2) doesn't mean anything anyway, then that's just retarded, lol. Kinda like the unisex restrooms in LawBreakers...one of the best shooters I've ever played, and 78 hours of playtime I NEVER noticed or knew about the restrooms, lol.

Some other things I thought of: there aren't ANY gay/LGBTQ characters in the game (Kung Jin is gay, from MKX, but he's inexplicably not in this game, even tho he was one of the main characters in MKX).

Also, outside of the game, I don't know that NetherRealm made more than one small social media post about SonicFox when he won Final Kombat, who is a gay black person who said "Vote Bernie" when he won (while dressed like a furry).

So yeah...the only "woke" agenda in MK is what paranoid dumbasses put into it.
