I need help with combo breakers

I cannot combo break for my life, even in the dojo. I've looked up countless guides that explain to you "If the enemy is doing a medium punch, press medium punch+medium kick" which I bounded my keys to B and Y and no matter if I press it three times, it doesn't counter break except for some lucky occassions. And I'm aware that if they do a heavy attack, you press all the kicks, correct? Which should be LB? No matter how many times I press the buttons, I just get combo'd endlessly without any chance to get in an attack because I can never get the combo breaker to work when I need it to. Can someone explain in simpler terms how to do it? I'm currently using a PS3 controller. Pretty frustraiting

Doesn't read like you have passed through lesson #12 in the Dojo; it's there for a reason.

There's also a Combo Breaker Training option in the Master menu. In there, you can go to the Pause Menu, enter in Help & Options -> Display and show Inputs there, just to check if your controller is responding in game.

Plus, if you enable the right stick in the Controller options, you can Combo Break with it, which you could find more comfortable. Up breaks Heavies, Left or Right break Mediums and Down breaks Light combos.

Raptors and werewolves don't take nin-jitzu lessons...lol...who needs a guide....plug and play has gone the way of the dinosaur...Back when this game came out in the archade 25 years ago it was exciting and now I can't believe it...Killer Instinct is back and deadlier than ever!
