Orchid Story: Average 40 or more in 1 fight?
How?? I just spent a great deal of time in the dojo and almost none of her combos get that much damage. Also, the amount of damage is random. Sometimes I will get 36%, sometimes I will get over 50%. And sometimes she does her Strong Ender and sometimes it is the Soft End which does much, much less damage.

Lets not forget this is the dojo, in an actual fight they will use combo breakers, ESPECIALLY on Hard, which is the diff lvl you need to do this on.

Is there some way to cheat? Some repetitive annoying combo that the AI never breaks?

Orchid have enough. Freakin' hate to fight her. All her special moves are really good.

And you can change difficulty in story mode. It doesn't matter, you can do it on easy.
CPU barely does anything until you turn it up to very hard.

pretty sure you just need to do it once
or maybe 4 times, like with 100% shadow/breakers

Do you have combo assist turned on or something?..
Just use strong autos with damage linkers and enders

I would never use that assist crap.

Orchid has incredibly low damge output, and if you hit someone with a footsweep, that is a 2-hit combo, and therefore turns your average combo damage% down drastically for that match. Anything below 40% lowers your average damage for the fight, and a 2-hit footsweep will destroy you, since you need to hit them with no less than 40% combos. Consider they stop taking damage if they are almost out of health, so you will also ruin your % if you try to finish their remaining health with a combo, as they will only have 20% left in this case.

Therefore, you need to hit them with 2 40% combos, then kill the 20% with jump kicks or something (anything NOT a combo), then next health bar, you need to repeat, or at least you need to do something equivalent or greater to this.

I have tried for hours tonight to do this, but when I get close "C-C-C-COMBO BREAKERRRRR!!!" and bye-bye 40% average, cuz that combo, even if it was like 20 hits before the breaker, now shows like 15% damage.

If I can just play the very first match with 40% average, the rest of the fights won't matter at all, and I can just finish the fights in peace.

... I can just change difficulty? omg :steamsad: I was wondering why it showed Hard on my Easy and Normal story fights. :steamsalty:

I just figured it was a requirement on Hard Story to play on Hard. Really my only issue is getting Combo Broken. That and combos mysteriously ending early or doing minimal damage. I'm obviously gonna go try it on Easy next time. Thanks for pointing out what was probably pretty obvious. This never even occurred to me. lol
