can you block certain players in ranked?

i got back into KI after buying it on the steam sale but all im getting in ranked is one killer rank player (rank 2 on the leaderboards) for 10 straight game, is there any way to block him so i can get some actual matches in or should i just not play ranked at this point?

Maybe it was in another game but I think I saw somewhere to unblock blocked players so there must be a way.

Don't play ranked. I avoid it in general but in this game and this platform in particular ranked mode is the only online mode without cross-play. Go to exhibition or lobby and you will find players not only from Steam but also from the Windows Store and Xbox One versions.

Blocking players doesn't work on Ranked, this was done to keep people from boosting to the top of the leaderboards by blocking anyone who could beat them.

With that said, blocking does work in Exhibition, so if you run into any trouble players there it will work normally.
