Game is installed on an SSD.
i would first the full screen mode to windowed, and move the game window to the 2nd monitor, and then set the setting back to borderless :)
also have you tried adding the game in nvidia control panel and making the game load in the 2nd monitor?
set primary monitor in windows display settings? i change mine on the fly depending on which one i want to use.
I have an AMD card. All games should have a menu option to have full screen on a specific monitor instead of only the primary display.
Update: Here's a picture of Neverwinter game menu to select monitor.

But it moves all my shortcuts and taskbar icons to my 2nd monitor.
As far as I can tell, it doesn't seem to cause any damage but it gets rather annoying, to be quite honest.
Are your drivers updated the latest version? which OS are you using ? do you have MSI afterburner and rivetuner installed?
