Won't launch at all???

So I've just installed this and was looking forward to give it a few hours today, and pow no launch! Nothing. *expresses sad face* Anyone else getting this or knows how to fix it? Windows 8.1 Pro N btw

yes I have the same issue. the white screen with the "not responding" message.

there are other topics in this forum for this, the support team shold be working on it.

please send your PC info to them and also the dxdiag file.

we all are waiting for the fix.

More than a few have reported it. So far all we've been told to do is submit dxdiag reports to the devs. No other news or responses.

Having the same issue on windows 7. No white screen, no nothing. Can't find a fix as well.

Not sure if the issue has been fixed or not. But I downloaded and installed Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 8.1. (Noticed it wasn't on my system when I was trying to install premiere). I've also installed some Visual C++ (I use octane render a lot) . Maybe give this a go, it might work for you guys :)

A friend of mine came up with a solution that worked with my “not responding” issue. I know there is already a .zip file circulating with these three files inside of it (StartupResolutionOptions.bin, vars_pc and windows_pc), but that one didn’t work for me - don’t know why - but the one my friend (Steam handle: El_Hazard) gave me works for me. This could be due to the fact that he’s using a 4K television and I’m using an Ultra-Wide (3440x1440) monitor. Lol it's funny but I removed all the thing you've listed (StartupResolutionOptions.bin, vars_pc and windows_pc) and now all of a sudden it works!

So guys, try removing those 3 things and then start it.

If you have Sonic Suite installed, disabling it fixed this issue for me.

i buy it and downloaded and cant pass of the preparing to lauch screen what can i do to solve this problem? Windows 10 ProN 64 bit and have all drivers up to date
