They are indeed

There's even an option in Audio settings to switch to the classic announcer voice!

Fans of the old will defintely enjoy this one, it's basically a modernised version of the old games

One thing I don't like is that it only has xinput support, I have plenty of xinput controllers, xbox, logitech f310 but it's always disappointing when they don't offer better support for inputs on a bloody fighting game!

So yeah, be weary of that as I don't think it'll work on dinput, not got any arcade sticks but they might potentially not work either

This was one of my main critism when I bought the windows store version last year, but I guess that's typical for a publisher like Microsoft
