PS4 Fightstick support?
I have a PS4 Venom fightstick but this is the first game to not recognize it in either PS3 OR PS4 modes. Has anyone had any luck with PS4 fightsticks in this game?

The only way i got Dinput controller to work is with the XOutput software.

So I got it working by launching Steam Big Picture mode, enabling PS4 and Custom Controller support and rebinding all the keys. It works fine, but still weird as this is the only fighting game I own (of quite many) that doesn't support DInput fightsticks.

The PS4 uses Direct Input, which actually works natively with the Windows 10 version. This version however only natively runs XInput. It's literally just a case of clicking a button in Steam to convert the Direct Input to Xinput, or using one of the many Sony controller drivers that convert the signal to XInput.

Actually, it never used to work natively with the Win10 version. I had it on my win10 laptop, using the same Venom stick, and eventually had to default to my xbox controller to play it.

My Hori PS4 ministick worked straight out of the box, but that might be because of a recent update.

[edit] my mistake, think I installed fresh drivers thinking about it.

Still, the best solution is to use a third party Xinput wrapper or the Steam Big Picture controller supoport.

Just for forum record, the Razer Atrox (xbox 360/PC version) worked off the bat. Even the select and start buttons worked and could be configured which is rare.

I have the Razer Panthera and it worked no issues with the Razer xinput driver download. You can even use it with Joy2Stick emulating a keyboard for the xbox PC version. (though it is a bit odd not being able to use the B/A buttons typically for engaging with the menu)
