NBA and Team Records Reset
Is it possible to reset the NBA and Team Records stats in Myleague?
It's pretty much impossible to break those records since I don't play 12 mins quarters
And I don't feel like using the normalizing stats feature
Does anybody know?
Thanks in advance

I don't know how to reset stats. I have a suggestion to give you half of what you want but it comes with a downside.

Keep in mind I did this in NBA 2k15 so I am not sure if it will work in 2k18 (don't own 2k18). You can set up a custom league and replace every team with a historic team (for example the current Lakers with a history team Lakers, Thunder can be replaced with Seattle Supersonics because that is who they used to be). The teams that do not have a historic team will have to be replaced with a Euro league team. When I did this in 2k15 not a single historic or Euro team had any team record stats (they also didn't have overall team win-loss records, playoff appearances, and championships). If you can forgive using a few Euro teams and old uniforms the league is still basically the same with all team records "reset". This would make it so if you played and simulated at 6 minute quarters then all team records would be based on 6 minutes and the overall team win-loss would start at 0-0 instead of 3261-2190 for the Lakers (so overall team records would also refect 6 minute quarters as well as playoff appearances and championships). Basically, the league is as fresh as it can be aside from personal player career stats, player season record holders (like 100 point Wilt), and player playoff records. The downside is this (aside from having to replace teams), unless you manually trade the players of the historic/Euro teams you are going to use with the current players from the team you will be replacing, you will have to do a fantasy draft.

Appreciate your detailed response! I understand what you trying to say, and that's exactly what I wanted, a brand new league without any previous stats
I might try this! It will take some time to set it up
But I think it's the only way, since I don't see any option to reset those records
Thank you very much sir!

You are welcome. Just keep in mind the player career stats, player season records, and playoff records do not reset so it isn't truly a new league. However, for example if you wanted to know who the has the record for most points in a season in your new league, since team records reset all you would have to do is look through all team records to see who scored the most points for their team and that is your Wilt Chamberlain.

I've tried your way, but it didn't work
They've added these records on the historic teams as well
Even if I replace the current team for their historic version, they still keep the records
Unfortunate :steamsad:
But I've found out that the historic teams are able to use the newest versions of their uniforms, which is nice
Thanks anyways!
I don't think there is a way to do it

Sorry to hear that. Well thanks for letting me know it don't work. I liked my custom league in 2k15 so I guess I will just continue to play that for another year.
