MyCAREER Can't decrease difficulty
In my MyCAREER my difficulty is set to Pro for some reason, even though I put the difficulty in the Main Menu to Rookie. Is there any way I change that?

you can yes, go to the nav there are options below the icon where you click to upgrade, where you can change your controls , adjust coach settings and more, including game difficulty

You cannot go below Pro difficulty in mycareer. I'm pretty sure it was the same in the other NBA 2K's. Pro always was the lowest diffiulty in mycareer mode unless I remember that incorrectly.

In 2K16 I was on Rookie in MyCAREER

It was the same in 2017. In MyCareer Pro is the lowest possible difficulty.

i'm so proud of the steam community. I surfed over these comments waiting to see a "Get Good" but there's not one.

No, it wasn't.

Rookie was an option in 2K17, 16, & 15.

They removed it this year to increase VC buying.

There shouldn't be.

I've been playing sports games since the 80/90's, there's no excuse to remove options to allow your customers to PLAY THE GAME how they want to, you know, since they paid their hard earned money for it.

Screw this VC crap and the online competitive mode, give me back the option to PLAY THE GAME how I WANT TO.

To everyone saying that rookie wasnt in the game before this i guess you never played 2k properly the damn game has always had rookie mode the problem is they made badge grinding an online thing not just offline there is no literal offline mode anymore it is all online they also did this so you dont have it easy mode they want you to pay vc to their ♥♥♥♥ company to get a good enough player to play on pro also something else you should know the sliders dont give you more exp or vc per game so playing on hof is useless

Pro seems rookie from last year. Easy to rebound/score and teammates are constantly making shots aswel.

roflmao if you say rookie is like pro this year you clearly dont know the game well enough pro is much harder then rookie especially with a damn 60 overall player
