2k18 Single-Player still playable?

When 2k shut down the servers I apparently also have lost access to my purely single-player careers and didn't really feel like starting from scratch.

If I start a new single-player career, will I face a lot of locked content or am I still going to be able to play a proper career?

As I know, when the servers closed, you cannot start or continue your online MyCareer. You can start offline but you can only play the game and upgrade your attributes and that's all. I cannot continue MyCareer too even I have played it like 6 months. All for nothing now thanks to 2k.

That's really messed up. I tried starting a new career, but apparently you can't even change your shot animation and signature moves anymore?
MyGM at least seems to work okayish.

Yeah MyGM and MyLeague are the only playable mods now. In MyCareer like you said, you cannot change even your shot style or apperance and not even the practice is playable.
