alot of non park players are gonna play park this year
Well yeah probably because you have to go into the open world hub to open up the season games menu (similar to your court in 2k17).
But the player animations, the rag doll and ball physics on Live are way off still.
I do hope that Live will be a big success, that the team gets to work on the next game with a bigger budget and maybe more staff because we all need competition. We need 2 games fight for customers, that forces both company to give a 100% and not slack around like 2K does with NBA or EA does with NHL currently.
What u hope for and what happens is totally different..Remember they had mike wang and he couldnt do much as he wanted..That should tell you something... Presentation no matter how good it is along with graphics if the animations is bad in live no one will play it. Its been in lives roots to make they games like that they will prob continue to make they games like that...Which is why they cant catch up with 2k
Question is: Why would anybody hope for anything else?
As i said: No competition makes the companies lazy. No competition means they can slack off. I gave examples about this. Good competition leads to way better games. Isn't that what you would want too instead of basically getting the same re-hash with superficial changes over and over?
Yea and im saying its good hope but ea/live has bad habbits..One of them is bad quality in the animation department its always been like this and prob will always be. Mike Wang lead dev was there for a year at ea and saw the what was coming and went back ..When u have someone that fully knowledge come in and dip like that you know something is wrong and Wang isnt a push over dude knows his stuff..
Because EA doesn't care about the PC and sees no audience for their sports games outside FIFA (because Football is the most popular sports on earth, so it sells even on the PC), hence also no NHL, Madden or whatever.
Also after watching parts of the MyCareer story with that raging asian i can safely say that NBA Live has the better story. In MyCareer you're an Ex-DJ who randomly plays on the streets and gets drafted while a supposed asian lesbian constantly yells at you (one of the most annoying characters i ever encountered in a video game).
In Live you're a promissing talent who has a massive injury in college and needs to recover from that and try to make it to the NBA by playing (real life) street courts.
Not only did the trailer give me some massive NBA Street flashbacks (i SO hope that series will make a proper return one day) but also considering the FIFA 17 story was a 100 times better (even though it also was very linear) than anything 2K shat out so far, it's safe to say that at least in that regard NBA Live will be better.
If you have a console try both demos, NBA LIVE's demo had soooo many bugs and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gameplay.
+1. I havent even played live but i seen the robotic herky jerky movements in it and thought oh no nba live is repeating history again. And with 2k and with the new mypark they doing lol you dont even hear people talking about live nomore.....They got real quiet after that announcement dropped lol i wonder why
