Slam Dunk Contest is broken!

OK. Seriously 2k, do you even test your game before you release it ? I cant play the full slam dunk contest, because either it freezes when i should take my second dunk, i cant input my dunk, or it freezes in the last round at the first contestant (Chriss).
Anyone with the same problem or a solution ? I heard that you should lower your AA to 4* but this would be just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

I'm mad. 3 times, and 3 times DC stuck on third round.

WTF, after updates game freeze in random places. It is not problem in normal game or my carier cutscenes, but in Park game???!!!

I start to hate 2k for all those bugs, forcing long walks in MyCarier, for to long animations, etc.

Maybe it's time to give a chance NBA Live after years played in the NBA 2k?

it works for me by not skipping...and when i say not skipping i mean not skipping..from the moment you select the dunk contest you let everything play...it works for some..not for others

if it froze even not skipping, restart pc, and retry, i did 4-5 times no freeze in this way : not skip any, neiother the pre match show

Hey Guy now i pround to tell u.I can bring my self on slamdunkcontest and i want to tell u how to.
1.play like normal but don't skip every thing (pre-game show too)
2.if stuck again don't sad press Alt+F4 to quit
3.close every program and restart computer
4.open your game with icon NBA2K18 on desktop (not through steam main menu to select game)
5.do like 1. (if u can't i think try to many many time)

after more than a year still the same here always in second round of the dunk contest, player keep's standing still and looking like he's not knowing what he is doing there

damn I thought this was only an issue i had. I even went so far as to totally un-install and re-install the total game. only to get the same issue.. dunk contest and the dude just stands there. doing nothing. everyyear. same spot same issue.

Hi guys I know it's an old subject but after being stuck on it for a year I finaly seemed to figure out what is causing this bug and how to fix it

the bug : when you play the dunk contest it freezes in the second or third round on a player "cinematic"

the cause: it seems that the bots who you're playing against are scripted in a way that if you do a good dunk and score a lot of points, they will try to win by doing a better dunk the round after, the problem is, if you're doing too good, they freeze

the fix: What I did (a multiple times to make sure it works) was doing a bad dunk on the first round ~30points, then a bug one on the second round and finally a perfect one (50pts) that way, you're behind them during the contest and only take advantage during the last shot
