Cannot Connect to 2k Servers? Any Fix?

Anyone else here from the Philippines that have PLDT as their ISP? I am having trouble connecting online. I was just playing smoothly yesterday, then the game froze so I decided to restart it and that's when I got the network error.

---- Meh now I can't even log on to steam, keeps telling me cannot connect to steam network.

But I can play other games outside steam without any problems, as well as log in steam using chrome.

Thanks for replying! Yes I have contacted 2K Support and filed a ticket 2 days ago, but since there's a lot of tickets being filed it may take a few working days for them to reply.

I am still confused as to how this happened. I was just playing the game normally then it froze but after trying to play I can't connect to the servers.

Try before game, go on Gatorade practice center and did any drill, after that ur game frozen like on 5 sec and after unfrozen

At the moment I still can't connect to the 2k servers so I can't really try that because I can't get into the game, but as soon as I could play I'll do that if I encounter freezes again.

If u use wifi, try reboot ur router, also try verifying games files in steam... Idk work it on 2k18 or not, but u can try, cuz it was worked in 2k17 if some1 cant' was connect to 2k server - go "Play Now" start quick game and play this game, during game u might be get message with "Update required" exit game and go to main menu....

if you cant connect to steam try this
go to internet options
then to connections
then lan settings
uncheck the automatically detect settings
then you should be good for other online games like dota 2 and csgo
(just a concerned kababayan)

tried all the method in youtube but i still cant connect in 2k

I have tried this, one thing it fixed was the delay in google chrome because before it takes 10-15 seconds before it even starts loading a web page.

Are you also having troubles connecting to the servers?

What error code? I am getting these two error codes: EFEAB30C or 4B538E50,

Methods I tried:
Sitting on the credits to wait for the "update required" message to pop-up - no luck
Sitting on the play now menu - no luck
Playing a game of blacktop up to 50 points - no luck
Playing MyGM 12 minute quarters - no luck
Play PlayNow Game 6 minute quarters - no luck
Unticking Automatically Detect Settings in the Internet Options
Moving the userdata to the desktop to create a new one, still no luck in connecting.

What happened before the error occured 3 days ago:

Played one mycareer game (running smoothly) after the game game froze, (had to use the task manager to close the game) reloaded the game , succesfully connected to the game, after getting into mycareer game froze again after 2 seconds in the neighbourhood (had to force close game again did this twice). I then decided to log out of steam but it wouldn't let me connect to the servers anymore after logging back in.
