Xbox 360 controller not recognized

Hy everone,

my X360 controller is not recognized in game properly. It works for 2k17 and is also fine in steam overlay...

But in 2k18 now it only shows standard number buttons instead of A, B, X, Y from Xbox. Although its named as xbox 360 controller at top of the button setup menue.
And additionally only the D-pad works for moving around, none of the sticks. In a game i cannot move at all. it's weird, never had such a problem before.

Has anyone an idea or had the same issue? I've istalled the newest driver for x360 controller and even tried an earlier version... no luck :(

it works perfectly for me!! have you tried the old bug/solution? shut down the pc and start the pc with the controller already plugged in!

In older nba 2k games, if you didnt do that, sometimes the game wouldnt recognize the controller..

i dont even have drivers for the x360 controller, windows 10 default ones did the trick for me :( send a mssg to 2k support, maybe they can help, but since i dont have it, seems like its an issue with ur pc, also try to play with steam gaming mode!

win7 standard driver was good for 2k17 too, plug and play... always so far. I just tried to install a different one to try out if it fixes it

I use SCP drivers with my really old wired PS3 controller and it works everywhere perfectly, acting like a 360 controller. Maybe you need to also get those for your 360 controller though it should work by default since its microsoft.

Isn't it weired to emulate an x360 controller to act like an x360 contoller?
What emulator are you using?

well, it is working! In 2k17 and everywhere else. And both of my x360 controllers have the same problem... It's a pain! I ;o)

my x360 controller work fine on nba 2k18 im using windows 10.

Same problem. All the buttons work but the triggers, bumpers and sticks.

Tried everything to get working. I did get my ps4 controller to work one time with ds4 windows, but not again since then.

Can't get my 360 controller to even work once.

Like the other people having problems, it works perfect elsewhere. Really wierd

butt nugget, are you on windows7 like me? Just because I have never heard any win10 users reporting issues yet...

Same problem, I played 4 hours earlier but now I start the game but the x360 controller isn't recognized.
