no sound in nba 2k17,and 2k18.

this is a problem 2k18 is good,and i play without sound i want my sound. first of all why would use dx 9c when mostly every new pc game works with direct 10,11,12. its not steams fault but a patch to fix it is needed now. so steam needs to contact 2k, and get this patched soon cause that would make it 5 stars instead of 2.5. cmon steam get this done asap.

i uninstalled and reinstalled it , even bought another key code.

i bought the game thru amazom, and they told me i was the first one to have this issue.

clearly this is a 2k caused problem cause most new games use dx 10,or 11. 2k also did not have any audio configation settings. 2k needs to make a patch that works with any pc that runs with any windows os,and give us the patch it plays great but no sound just makes it suck for our audio enjoyment. its messed when xbox,ps4,nintendo consoles had 4 updates,and we the pc none tofix this problem. thats all i got to say 2k was 5 innba sports now its just 2.5 and falling.

I'm having the exact same problem. No sound, no Shaq, Ernie and Kenny. No 2K TV. I can play 1 quarter if I'm lucky before it crashes. I've tried every fix I could find but nothing works. So frustrated with this game and 2K games for lack of support.

2k seems lost as we are. are you using amd or nvidia. i have an amd rx 550 card,and my card was working badly. so i decided to switch to my old nvidia gt 1030. i reinstalled the drivers then the nba 2k sound came back, but i was unhappy its perfomance. so i uninstall it,and its drivers with a display driver uninstall utility using the install new graphics card settings, then reinstalled my amd drivers,and my amd card. then my sound came back. so try this uninstall your current by using a DDU display driver uninstall program to uninstall the drivers using uninstall driver for a new graphic card install. do not uninstall your card, then restart after the program shut downs your pc. then restart and reinstall latest driver nvidia,or amd. i hope this works for whoever want to try it cause in theory it may work,and if so let me know.remember i found my resolution accidently.

I found out I had to switch it from full screen to full screen windowed. Now it's working fine. 2K still needs to fix these glitches though.

Still no sound, refuse to play it. So frustrating. I’m still playing 17, seems to be picking up, at first no one was on but it seems that because of the price drop more are buying.
