Importing .ASSETS and .RESS files into unity
Devs! please help!

You said in one of your pre-release updates that the game was easy to decode, and we would be seeing some mods around. Well, I've been wanting to channel my (few) unity skills and see if I can do anything worthwile with modding or building.

But...

I need to know how to extract and import .resS files and .assets (not sure if i need the .reS files) into Unity!

I have loved the game thus far and I look forward to the following free DLC months (especially the final update - would love to see what the community will do).

But make sure you bloody well respond.

it uses Streaming Asset Bundles much the way that 7 days to die and other Unity games do - I'd start with something like this https://7daystodie.com/forums/showthread.php?22675-Unity-Assets-Bundle-Extractor - I haven't tried to reverse engineer it myself yet but this tool should put you on the right track

Thanks; I think I might have that installed already. I'll give it a go.
