Det er et meget sjovt spil.
Jeg kan let anbefale det til folk der elsker simulator spil.
Der er stadig nogle bugs, men de betyder ikke så meget.
Så jeg giver spillet 8/10 stjerner.

About an hour in and so far loving this game. Seems more polished than last years, graphics are certainly much cleaner. No glitches yet outside of the GPS showing i'm off road when i'm not but that's no biggie. Will update review when i have more time in but for $15 i've already gotten my money's worth!

UPDATE: over 4 hours in and according to the load screen i'm 30% done. Still loving the game, highly recommend. There's just something very catharic about smashing some critical areas in concrete walls and watching them crumble to the ground, with great sound effects i might add. It does get into a bit of rinse / repeat type grind but you don't really notice it too much. I just unlocked a new city which happens when you get your business rank high enough so there's different areas to check out. i think you start from scratch in the new city(s) and have to rebuy equipment but that's what keeps ya going. Also got it to work with my joystick which is a god send with any machine with an arm like the excavator. Still highly recommend!!!

UPDATE2: over 8 hours in, on my 3rd city and around 40% done. Still enjoying it even though some is a bit of a grind. I'm really glad they changed the machines in each city as it adds the much needed variety. Great buy!

Let's get the obvious out of the way first:

- It's a small team Unity offering
- Physics are wonky

But you know what? It's fun, even beyond the simple "it's cathartic to smash stuff". There's some dialogue that I genuinely found funny, as well as some strange stuff (Male business partner call to say "If my wife asks I was at yours last night", I'm naturally playing a female avatar...).

Basic gameplay loop is do jobs for cash to raise NW (net worth) by building assets (houses for rent etc.) and buying new vehicles. There's an annnong mechanic where after a while assets will bleed NW until you maintain them (a chore when you're in another country/zone/whatever) but you can assign workers to this for a fee (plus you have to hire them, and they're zone specific).

Only real gripe is that there's a common task step where you have to pick up debris and drop it in a skip before you start; you can't throw because of the physics, so you're only really able to load the direct front of a skip; some basic physics to throw would be nice, but it's not game breaking.

All in all a fun little game, it's cheap enough that I feel I've had my money's worth, and while it's a poor man's Construction Simulator(tm?) that's not really a bad thing, it does what it says on the tin.

Also having funded college by working in construction, having to painstakingly remove roof timbers and glass, damping down then knocking out brick by brick to carry to a skip, it's refreshing to just go "♥♥♥♥ it" and drive a bulldozer straight through the building.

This turned out to be way better than I expected, it feels like the last game but has so much more content. I think they recycled 6 vehicles/equipment pieces, the rest are all new. Super nice looking visuals too if you're into insane god ray sunsets and sunrises.

Took me just over 27 hours to complete the game solo, haven't touched multi yet. Hired AI workers to do two revenue properties on the final map, otherwise I built everything else.

Apart from a few typos and slightly janky physics with the backhoe, most of the equipment operates decently...although this is by no stretch a true simulator beyond a thin veneer, it's designed to be fun and arcadey. All of the equipment has in-cab views if you prefer doing things that way, but very little in the way of working instrument panels beyond a vague speedo and fuel indicator.

Buying and completing all revenue properties plus finishing all offered jobs on each map will reset the job offers, so you can keep playing with everything unlocked and essentially unlimited money if you like.

I paid .99 for this and I've gotten that value and some out of it so far.

It's actually pretty fun for a change of pace. Relaxing is possible but I haven't found a way to pause or anything and am not sure that matters. I did find that there is a console when using ~ key but I don't know what it's good for. I found a mod folder and in it is a simple instruction for creating a vehicle. Not sure what else is possible.

90% off, I couldn't pass it up.

although better looking than Demolition Company the physics are sub par. some game choices don't make much sense such as you can't use the jack hammer to destroy concrete. as far as the co-op goes me and a friend spent an hour trying to host a lobby and play with each other only to be stopped by multiple errors and game crashes. I would only consider picking up this game if it was $7 or less.

Demolish & Build 2018

Demolish & Build 2018 is a pretty decent construction simulator experience. If you enjoyed playing with dumb trucks and construction gear toys as a kid, then this is the game for you!

Get your hands on some heavy duty construction tools and vehicles and then you get to ride them. Demolish & Build 2018 lets you create your own construction empire and grow it at your will.

The game took me to couple of demolition jobs to get used to the controls. After being done with them, you’re on your own. Your boss, a rude man, fires you over the phone, so you decide to create something on your own.

You’ll now have to embark on a journey of creating your own construction company, grow your company, hire manpower and get your hands on all the latest and greatest heavy duty construction tools.
Easier said than done; growing a construction empire from scratch isn’t easy.

You start off with odd demolition jobs, a minor Handy hammer and a ranch. You’ll have to complete these odd jobs and work up to buying better tools and construction vehicles.

The game later on lets you buy your own properties and grow them into projects of your liking. Working up the money to afford a property is a bit of a grind, but its satisfying and worth the time.

Although the game is nowhere near perfect, and doesn’t have much to offer in terms of content, it can hold on to all you simulator and grind-lovers.

The game’s core gameplay is simple and welcoming to newer players. The simple controls let you go through your jobs easily. The game also lets you go through four different world locations with free navigation. You can hire men for help and to manage your work.

You can see how much money you’re making while working, but you will only be able to get that money to your wallet if you finish your tasks.
At any given time there is a limited number of jobs to choose from, and sometimes those jobs don’t pay well compared to the given task, which is a major down side.

Demolition site preparations felt very boring and uninspired.

Though there are some machines to choose from, after a while they start to feel very boring and repetitive.
The empty world of Demolish & Build 2018 doesn’t help the game. Although I enjoyed my time finishing tasks, once complete I really hated roaming around the world in order to find new work, because the world is so boring. This game needs more content updates.

There are 4 different playable areas, but that did not help the fact that the game is literally empty.
I encountered some minor bugs and frame drops, but other than that I don’t have much too complain about this game.

Positives:
+ Strong base gameplay
+ Newbie-friendly
+ Few Tools and vehicles to choose from and use
+ Four large playable areas
+ Lets you hire and manage your own company and crew
+ Fair-priced for a good 10 – 15 hours of gameplay
+ Easy to complete given jobs

Negatives:
- Minor bugs and glitches
- Random frame drops/ game-freeze
- Got repetitive very quickly
- Needs more content updates
- Empty world

Overall, considering all the aspects of the game and the pricing, I must say that if you’re into this sort of gameplay, then this is a very enjoyable and grindy game.
