SCRAPS TIPS - READ HERE.

So I have noticed quite a lot of players complaining about 50t of scraps achievements. Here is some info:

The truck can hold 13 tons of scraps all at once. So for an achievement, you need a bit less than 4 full loads. Every load takes about 30 minutes, maybe less. So if you purely farm scraps, you will get this achievement in less than 2 hours. That, if you did not actually collected scrap for money. I myself had to get about 20t of scrap metal for money, so only about an hour I need for scrap farming.

Green circles on the map indicate where the scrap is located. Sometimes there is no scrap - there is gold ore instead. Use a vehicle with jackhammer on it to uncover a tiny piece of gold, then simply take it in hands to cash it in. It is worth around 1500-2500$ (random value).

Now, if there are NO more green circles on the map, the game refreshes 3 random (though it looks not purely random but in an order instead) scrapped car with parts to collect again. So no, you won't ever run out of scrap.
It should be noted that green circles that contain gold nuggets instead of car corpses need to be removed too by collecting the nugger for scrap cars to respawn.

Make sure you take scrap metal quest everytime you unload the scrap - it doubles the value of scrap for next load of scrap. Note that it requires a single ton to be delivered, but if you deliver full truck of scrap, all 13t of scrap will be sold at double price!

Last but not least: you DON'T have to bring a crane to get roofs and engines. All you need to do:
-Roofs: bump the car with the back of the truck so that your truck hits roof. It will clip slightly inside truck body and get inside.
-Engines: hit the front of the car with the engine with at least medium force with a BACK CORNER of your truck. It should clip through the scrap car front and touch the engine. If that happens, the engine gets into your truck.
If above does not works, simply bump the car real hard so that the part falls to the ground (you need to turn over the car if it is the engine) and then repeadetly run over fallen part. It will eventually get into the truck.

Yep the bumping of the dump truck to the vehicle to get the engine and roof I found out on my own, really makes collecting it alot faster, no waste of time with the mini excavator

No its cumalative, the game will keep track how much you picked up as a whole across all the maps, you just don't have quite enough yet don't worry you will get it :)

all the achievements work I have them 100%

That seems like a very clunky mechanic (hitting the engine with your truck). Why don't the devs just add like a hook / hitch that you can hook the engine into your truck bed?

the mini excavator is what the DEV's intended you to use, the bumping into it is just quicker is all

I would recommend doing this at Dorfenberg (2nd map) giving the trains offer most scrap, even if it means using the excavator to lift some parts, as I find 3-4 trains will be more than enough to fill the truck up to max.

A bit tedious admittedly driving them to the locations but a useful tip.

Agree with Hunter - also Dorfenberg doesn't have any gold, only scrap, so it's much less frustrating (no need to get a machine-drill to clear those useless golds!)

Hi! I have a problem with gold pieces. Is there any way to know where to use the drill or should i just run around, hammering everything inside that green circle?

I thought I was surely missing something when I couldn't scrap the rest of the car. I think it's silly since it can clearly fit in the dump truck, possibly with a bit more cutting. IE cut the cabin off the frame on the old truck, and cut the unibody cars in half by cutting the floor.
