This thread will be for the changelogs of The Pit: Infinity.

December 10th 2018

Additions:
  • Added more room variants

Major Changes
  • Significant rework of AI pathfinding

Changes:
  • Increased number of Monsters spawning in Hallways
  • Reduced spawning density of Monsters in the Hallways
  • Conditions will no longer kill immediately upon reaching Level 10, will wait until the next Condition check
  • Numerous changes to Monster Walking Speeds
  • Improvements to graphical effects for the Message Decoding

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed Buffs from Items being duplicated when loading a Saved game
  • Fixed Aiming for Humanoid Monsters

THE PIT: INFINITY HOTFIX - v0.2.1.5494

Changes
  • Numerous changes to Monsters (speeds, attention ranges)
  • Increased chance of encountering a console
  • Crafting List Items will now appear Red if you don't have enough of the appropriate Materials

Fixes
  • Fixed Stun Grenade not always having the proper animation when equipped
  • Fixed loading Save Games and having them be set to Level 1 Engineers
  • Fixed Mouse Sensitivity slider being stuck
  • Radial damage should now be blocked by cover

  • Players are now be able to craft Items via their Inventory (by pressing 'P')
  • Players can also craft items via EZ Cookers, Cookers, and Lab Stations
  • There are some starting Recipes, but all others are unlocked by decoding Messages
  • Appropriate Crafting stations should now be more common in The Pit

  • Added the first Achievement for Early Adopters of TP:I

  • Changed the name of the game to 'THE PIT: INFINITY'
  • Updated version number of TP:I to v0.2
  • Numerous balance changes to Monster spawn rates
  • Numerous balance changes to Weapon damages
  • Changes to Room propagation

Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed Monsters that ragdolled from blocking other Monsters
  • Fixed Stackable Items using multiple units per use
  • Tweaked rooms to prevent Players from getting stuck when opening a Locker
  • Fixed a very slow drift in Player aiming

Known Issues:
  • Monsters that ragdoll currently block other Monsters
  • Monsters are swarming outside of Rooms

  • Fixed an audio option not syncing when going to the Main Menu upon loading game
  • Fixed Grenades not throwing the appropriate mesh
  • Fixed an issue with aiming being disabled after melee
  • Fixed doors closing on Player
  • Fixed game crash when rapidly pressing the Map key
  • Fixed Player getting stuck in Pods after a successful interaction
  • Fixed room walls disappearing when reloading a save game
  • Fixed FOV being set to 100 on game load
  • Fixed Grenade audio using the wrong asset

Known Issues:
  • The Flashlight gets brighter the further down you go
  • Resolution and Windowed Mode settings may have been changed from your current settings, but can be changed back (this should only occur once upon startup)

Changes:
  • Using Ironsights no longer zooms the camera in, but still shrinks the reticle
  • Increased base Walk/Run speeds for the Marine, Enginner, and Scout
  • Monsters no longer spawn in rooms when the door is closed by the player
  • Reduced interaction time on a number of props
  • Made art changes to the Ghostmaker spider

  • Fixed “First Kill” bonuses reseting when reloading a saved game
  • Fixed the Rot Pile not giving outcomes

  • Fixed AI that cannot open doors from trying to leave their room
