Moving Supplies

Hey all;

I've gotten to the point where I have several hundred guns in half-decent shape that I really want to hand out to the miiltia. Thankfully, it seems you can pull equipment right out of a zone's stockpile in order to do it. What I cannot figure out however is if there is an easier way than using a team of mercs in order to ferry guns and other equipment like ammo and medical supplies around in order to make sure I can keep working from more or less the front line. Is there a more practical way of moving equipment in bulk (at least in larger packages than stuffing a backpack and going hiking)? It makes it a pain to keep my guys in fighting shape.

Perhaps using the helo pilot (I've never actually used him before) or some option to tell the online shop to send supplies somewhere else (though admittedly I still haven't gotten the second airfield either)?

Hi,

the answer is a simple no.
My advice is to repair the weapons and using the best for your mercs. The cheapest you can give to the militia and sell the rest for money.
Handle the enemy with you mercs.

I use low level mercs to do the trips back to the first airfield to pick up and distribute supplies to the front line teams, haven't found another method yet but haven't finished the game yet either

I use a grunt like Grizzly, Bubba or even Bull to haul stuff around between various sectors

Thanks for the advice, it confirms what I was thinking about it. I guess I'll buy 2 or 3 cheap guys and have them set up convoys.

Don't forget you do get freebie mercs join you through the game... Most of these are pretty crappy and make for ideal pack-mules...
