Is there a way I can run Patrician IV on my macbook?

I am temporarily using my mac instead of my PC, and I'm trying to download some of my old games. I noticed that Patrician IV is availble on the App store, however I am unable to play the game through steam... is there a way I can play it without having to buy the game again on the app store?
