Can't play at 1440p? Come on it's 2017

It's been 6 years since I last played the game, today I reinstalled it again and noticed that the maximum resolution is 1920x1200. Really? Why would there even be a max resolution?

I don't like playing games in windowed mode, I like to go fullscreen native resolution, and 1920x1200 looks like a blurry mess in a 1440p monitor. Very disappointed because I was looking forward to replaying this game.

Hilarious, even Patrician 3 can be played at 2560x1440 with mods, while P4 can't. A game made in year 2000 beats a game made in 2010, 10 years of difference.

I have to thank Patrician 4 for reminding me what the better game is, P3 also has more features and better naval combat. See you never again P4, and rest in piece Ascaron!

did you even get it into fullscreen mode? For me it is simply windowed ... which is REALLY annyoing (and I have 4K display which makes it way more annoying)

Hey, sorry I don't quite remember since it's been 1 year, I think yes the game ran in full screen, but only at 1080p which was quite a bummer, so in the end I just went to play Patrician 3 instead which has a mod that allows it to run at 1440p. Good luck.
