The Big House Achievement (solved)
Hi,

does anybody knows, if this achievement has some "hidden" conditions?

I am playing sandbox game to get it, but I have filled 7 prisons full of people (criminals, unemployed, some rebel scum), I even demolished 2 prisons to get exactly 40 prisoners but nothing worked and achievement does not trigger ingame. I am half a mind from arresting only males in case inMATE was the necessary part...

God mode is not enabled as I have unlocked "It's a trap" just a moment ago.

Any help appreciated.

You must wait until they all arrive in prison, it takes a while for the officers to go to the arrested then bring them back to whichever prison the game randomly selects them to do towards.

Once they are shown in prison, they are in it, ni?
Anyway just now I had five prisons full about year after arrests started, no other arrest were planned (I ve sent exactly 40) and still nothing until they all left prison 3-4 years later. :/

If by "shown" you mean you can see their icon on the prisoners list when you click the prison, I'm pretty sure that doesn't count. Check the individual prisoners one by one if you want, and see whether or not the are still heading towards the prison. If no-one is you might just want to try the achievment again on a fresh mission.

Once their icon is in prisoners list, they are physically there. (Policemen brought them there) Checked to be sure.

Dammit, last missing achievement. And it should be possible, 1% people have it :)

Don't forget that achievements don't usually trigger until you "get" the achievement, quit the game and reload the game.

Everytime i get an achievement in this game, it only shows up the next time I load the game.

I am aware of that. That is why I wrote "does not trigger ingame."

Well...

I have just started Tropico while in online mode, loaded saved game with 40 prisoners and The Big House was achieved just like that.

Might help somebody in the future.
