This or Anno 2070?
Just sitting here looking at the Store, can't decide between this and Anno? Could anyone give me a quick rundown on the two? I'll even say a humble 'please' because I know these questions can get old. I played the Sim City's till my eye bled, just to give you an idea of my style.

Thanks.

If that's your style then I suggest you go with Tropico 4. Anno 2070 seems a little bit more like an RTS with some city-building elements.

I'd get both. I know Tropico 4 is definately worth it as I've played it in the past. Definately worth the £5.99 for the Special Edition with all DLC's. Anno 2070 is also on my wishlist, but I'm waiting for the price to drop to a more reasonable level. It did drop down to around £4 in the Christmas Sale.

My advice? Get Tropico 4 Collectors Edition now, and wait until Anno reaches the £4-5 mark.

Anno 2070 is serious drama. Tropico 4 has a lot of humor.

Tropico 4 is really really good. Fun, interesting. It's worth it !

They both are good, with fun sim city-building elements.
You do need to carefully read through each piece of DLC though, and definitely get the ones that interest you. Do get the DLC when they are on sale along with the game (often means you have to act Inside that 48 hour window)
Playing either game in just the strip-down stock version without any DLC would get old quick in my opinion.
I have All DLC for T4 and all but 1 or 2 DLC for A2070.

get civ v instead much better though less city building
I've tried Anno 2070; graphics were impressive, gameplay was not. Gameplay is very linear, you've always got your "advisors" telling you what to do, worse than Tropico 4. Tropico 4 is more fun, simply because of the light humour this game offers. Anno 2070 takes itself too seriously, sometimes comes out as cheesy.

I'm honestly waiting for the new Simcity to come on sale [not on steam]. Maybe try Simcity 4 if you haven't already! I suggest reading about it, as the learning curve is somewhat steeper. No tutorial.. but once you've got the basics, the game is ALOT more satisfying than any other city builder. Gives you much more tools to create and try out things. It's a sandbox game though, no scenarios or anything.

I like most tropico
depends on what u like more: Tropico is simplier but after about 10 hours of gameplay u have seen almost erverything. Anno is more complicated and more difficult, and u migt have to fight wars: it will be anoying when u will go benkrupt after playing hours and hours. If u get bankrupt in Tropico u might be an idiot.

How many of the DLC do you have, Kann kein? Because there are many more hours than just the ten when you play T4 with all or most of the DLC.

Thanks for all the comments, I went ahead and bought Tropico4, but going to pick up Anno when the prices drops more.
