i bet that update just enables compatibility for another DLC
Billy Dec 20, 2013 @ 7:25am
That could be. But I don't remember having an update when they released the last couple DLCs. But maybe there was one and I wasn't paying attention.

I was wondering the same thing.

Like they can't put compatibility while you download DLC..

I havent played this game very long, and dont have any of the dlc i think. But i cant for the life of me, see anything new.

Seems like bug fixes perhaps

I'm really surprised there is no changelog. You would think they would release one every time they update the game. It's important info to have.

When i run it it tells me it's 1.06 dident see if it was that befor, if not the changelog is here.

Ther was an unreasled military building (watch bunker). So it might be the last DLC.

I'm really starting to hate developers. How many times have I seen an update on Steam (for whatever game) and then not being able to find any information on it. Steam should force the devs to update the news-section when releasing a new update. Regarding Tropico, I can't find any info whatsoever, not on Steam nor Tropico homepage. How damn hard can it be? It's importent information ffs! It's annoying, and it's starting to tick me off!

The Official forums say 1.06 was released over a month ago:

So that's NOT it.

Totally agree, its bs to not publish patch notes. Do the devs who don't publish them actually NOT track the changes they make to their product? (if so, how do they actually get anything done without documentation)

Or do they really think customers believe they don't keep track of changes/have zero interest in said changes?

How hard could it possibly be to copy and paste a list together from their own internal list?

Probably just laziness brought on by consoles rarely, if ever, getting patch notes and since us PC gamers get a lot of ports from the consoles, at least last generation anyway, it happens more often than it used to.

I completely agree with the above comments, it's extremely frustrating when I see a download in my queue, but no changelog. That's why I was hoping somebody here would know.
I also looked up the 1.06 changelog but it appears that that was not what was downloaded today.

I just got a 144MB update.
