What i disagree
the lack of content. there is such little in that game that it hurts. Even if you buy all the dlc in that game its not even alot. What i love is Tropico 4 with all dlc its amazing i spent alot of hours and come back to it from time to time.
The game hides/removes the mechanics that made the title so interesting, and replaces them with instant gratification actions and simplistic concept.
Farms for example - In the original, the workers would plant out as much crop as they could before harvest came, then harvest as much as they could before it spoiled, whilst soil conditions waxed and waned according to rainfall (clouds passing overhead). In 4, it changed to simply each worker would plant and harvest a single crop block (which retained a little of the organic look), and no rainfall interaction. In 5+, the plantation simply occupies a block of grid squares, graphics mimic growing and ripening, and the workers just meander around the fields as pure eye candy (whilst they are present at the farm, output stock is incremented).
yes it ok. Its a better version of Tropico 5 but i still think that 3 and 4 are the best. 3 having the best "Sh!tty latin america Island vibe" and 4 having alot of stuff. Especially if you get all the dlc which often goes on sale for like a dollar
I agree but i’m into graphics, for me i wanted the 6.
problem of all modern games - no soul.
Yeah tropico 6 just feels off and lame to me. I love the vibe of 4 and 3 the best.
