Shortage of uneducated workers.
I have a problem. Later in the game I always face the problem of the shortage of uneducated workers. For the first 5 years or so I have lots of them working (for default 5$ wage), but later they all just disappear, as a result, all my mines are emty, so are my farms and every facility that needs uneducated workers. Tried raising their payment up to 10$, that didn't work at all. what is the problem?

It's usually a case of the population moving to occupy the best available jobs, especially if you have a lot of college-level buildings (eg. banks). Just make sure your population increases at the same rate as you build new buildings for people to work at and you should be fine. I've only really encounter this problem once, and that was when I spammed business centers like there was no tomorrow.

My guess is that there are jobs that have a higher job quality availible, my suggestion is to build an immigration office under the governmant tab and set it to open doors to fill up the job slots. Sure you may have to deal with an increased need for service buildings but you can now fill up those essential facilities :D

The thing is, all the other jobs are already taken, so I don't know where are they trying to get

I had the same problem yestarday. I think the reason was insufficient food. I added a marketplace and just in case build an immigration office set to "No exit, unless dead" (or something between the lines lmao).
